Tony Bang - Antonio Bagnato - also known as "Tony Bang" - when he fought muay thai in Sydney's south in 2012.

Bangkok: Australian man Antonio Bagnato has been found guilty and sentenced to death by a Thai court for his role in the 2015 abduction and murder of Hells Angels gang member Wayne Schneider.

Antonio Bagnato, 28, was charged over the abduction and killing of Schneider, a former Hells Angel bikie, at a villa complex in the seaside resort of Pattaya, 150 kilometres from Bangkok, in 2015.

Bagnato, a kickboxer and one-time business associate of Schneider, had pleaded not guilty.

Won't Happen

Won't get the death penalty. Few years in Thai prison and extradited to Australia and it comes down to a 25 year stretch.

Will be let go after 12-15 years for 'good behavior'. First world justice system in full force.

Lots on death row here but it's rarely applies these days (2009 was the last death - by lethal injection).

True and they reckon that was only because they wanted to test it.

As far as this guy goes any cage in the world will do but I would draw the line at feeding the animal

i have to agree with the "dead man walking"" theory, the boys will never forget and maybe send someone inside to get the job done instead of waiting

Yer rekon.Only if he applys to go back.He is dead if he goes back.Must serve at least half his sentence here.

Did he apply for bail

The mind boggles.. he is 28 years old and threw his life away for some 'biker gang'. Those boiler room killers are even younger and will be captured sooner than later and have no future either. If that's the new generation, then I am happy to check out early..

10 years here , 10 at home if he is lucky,

survival in the Thai prison and the money to keep a sustained life

will be the test.

His co acomplice must have really knifed in the back, all good mates, BRO,

Thailand doesn't tend to execute foreigners, even less so westerners (an old friend reckoned they'd never executed a foreigner, in modern times).

Also, they seem to have had a moratorium on the DP in recent years.

Might be looking at 8 years in the Big Tiger though, then back to Oz.

Excellent needs to be carried out before sundown today before the Thai's forget all about it.

He can study full time Thai Bhuddism at Bangkok Hilton and then fake being a monk, get representation from the Australian embassy and their media and whilst becoming popular with the Screws entering Thai Kickboxing competitions inside. I can see film rights and a luxury  Sydney harbour mansion with views within 10 yrs. All will be fine.

He isn't a nice teddy bear but then neither was the dead man, two savages meeting an untimely end.

How come we hear about this sentence and not for many others.

e.g. The Thai member of parliament who killed his wife with a AK74,while in a restaurant,in full view of many witnesses. The Thai Musicians in Ao-Nang who stabbed to death an American. The Thai taxi driver who stabbed his American customer on Sukumvit. + plenty more.

Mess with any biker gang and get what's coming!!!! simple!!!

Seems everyone is happy that justice has been done, myself included. Where are the nay sayers? Fit up, corruption etc?

yet another black mark on Thailand's international reputation ..... if you wan't to be regarded as "ciwilai" than you don't use the death penalty.

You get what you give.
This trash punk deserves it.

It certainly didn't happen to the little rich hi-so pretty who killed 9 people in a van just a few years back, did it?   Didn't even get jail time, did she?   No teeth to the law.

What an amazingly unthought out philosophy - thankfully definitely not a law though.....
