RAF Typhoon jets escort Pakistan plane to Stansted

LONDON: -- RAF fighter jets have been scrambled to divert a Pakistan International Airlines plane to Stansted Airport.

Stansted said the flight from Lahore to Heathrow had landed in Essex at 14:50 GMT after being escorted by Typhoons.

Essex Police said the diversion had been due to reports of a disruptive passenger and was "not believed to be a hijack situation or terror matter".

In an unrelated matter, a passenger due to be arrested by police on arrival at Heathrow was held at Stansted instead.

Unrelated.... sounds rather coincidental!

If it's a solitary person involved they always deny that it's an act of terrorism these days.

Really?  That's a new one to me.

Well look at the facts;

Reported by the notoriously balanced BBC

Nobody is willing to put their head above the parapet and say it like it was for fear of being branded a racist or islamophobe

chances are very high if RAF scrambled to bring a plane to alternative airport, there was a clear and real threat which if  allowing said jet to fly over the capital city, buck house Houses of Parliament etc ( though the latter is much less of a loss if it went ) with a potential nutcase on board would be considered by those with any sense whatsoever to be ill advised.

Nice - people killed by a lorry ( not an idiot jihadist)

Brussels - mentally duisturbed not a crazed Islamic terrorist.

Just look at how how you are being brainwashed..........

Ever considered you're the one who is brainwashed? However...

No because I find out as much as I can about a subject before imposing my views on people

but hey if you want to deny terrorism exists, help yourself.

...but we're not. We all know who and what is involved and who the enemy is. Any fear of saying as much in public is something that the PC milquetoast  shackle the media with. It certainly doesn't apply to me and you yourself are probably, similarly one of those that calls a "spade a spade."

Try again - please quote the BBC or any other mainstream news source who have claimed (after the facts were known) the Nice and Brussels terror attacks were not carried out by Islamic extremists or indeed the OP is in fact related to Islamic terrorism.

IMO it is regrettable that those blathering on about PC, leftists etc etc are just as guilty with their own form of PC / conspiracy theories which add nothing of a constructive nature.

Probably a breakfast menu of scrambled eggs on toast calling out the milquetoast.
