Public Holidays 2017

Today, Saturday  February 11 is a Buddhist holiday as is a substitution day on Monday Feb 13.(because it falls on a week end.)

 

Officially no alcohol  sales!

expect Government Offices to be closed... Perhaps some other businesses including banks,  also ~ !

 

Immigration was actually open so come Tuesday many many people were getting stung with an overstay.

I'm not going to go check for an example but various government websites say open Mon to Fri 08:30 'til 16:30. Closed Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays. I they were open then that would be a serious change in procedure though I would suggest they were just trying it on to make a few Bucks.

My 90 day is  due tomorrow, May 6th...  but waiting on Money to arrive to have in Bank, which is in transit... I'll find out on Monday!

I think retirement extensions had a little more leeway.... 5 days I think!?

A Buddhist holiday .... Alcohol Free  day!

 

And also Friday May 12th is a holiday....

 

 After those 2 days there will be no more closures until the 8th of July. (borrowed from Udon Joe! )
