For sure they'll never admit they were wrong if it does succeed. ..and if the line doesn't succeed, what will YOUR position be then?
balo
I think it would become a success if they could offer a return trip for 995 baht . The ferry itself is in good shape (originally built in Norway) before it was sold to China. And no reason to complain about being strict , no smoking allowed and no food being offered. Bring a sandwich, its only 2 hours. Water, coffee and tea is offered onboard.

Most such incidents, very survivable- especially in tropical waters where hypothermia takes a long time. Flaming mini vans? Not so survivable. I learned that if I have a choice between being in a sinking ferry and a burning mini-van, I'll choose the ferry every time. Of course, I have to admit that we never trained for exiting a flaming mini-van like we trained to exit a sinking/ overturned vessel. Something about liability waivers and insurance coverage.
