A new boat ride route to appreciate Krabi’s main river, its stunning natural wonders and rich mangrove forest, is now introduced to visitors. The Krabi Vice Governor Chai Panitpornpan explained that the trip which begins from the pier in town near the local TAT office takes 2 hours and visits the two mountains, the cave stalactites and stalagmites and big mangrove areas along the river. The boat ride can also go to a small fishing village of Ban Klang to appreciate the local lifestyle. Alongside the visitors can view closely different types of birds, monkeys and marine life at mangrove forests. It costs 400 – 500 baht per boat or around 50 baht per head.
