As for illegal drugs, I could probably find them more easily in my "home" town than in Pattaya.

Phuket has a worse taxi mafia than Pattaya and Pattaya baht buses are only 10 baht on the circuit- way better than Chiang Mai.

Money money money- same as any big place nowadays.

Have to agree, the baht buses in Pattaya are FAR and AWAY better than the taxi idiots in Phuket.

In all fairness to the Mirror they broke this story about forty of child rape and abuse in Telford in the UK. I sometimes wonder if the Thai media cover such stories of UK life

TAT will be happy with international newspapers reporting Pattaya, It just up's the bookings for holidays, not just the Guys coming but the gals too!, gives them the chance to dress down everyday on holiday unlike just Friday nights, Plus they know they will get to try new things themselves! So, they will be happy has bookings increase, cash comes in. Even the ugliest will get laid, doped up and drunk and most will have a looker rocking their world perhaps for the first time be they male,female or something inbetween!!

Something they don't know in Thailand or something they know,  but ignore ?....

 

....ok well,...you have quite a few corrupt cops and immigration officers !!! ....and totally murderous roads....
