Fish-feeding Russian tourist jailed in Phuket

PHUKET: -- A Russian tourist spent two nights in jail for feeding fish at Koh Racha before paying 100,000 baht bail to be released from a holding cell at Phuket Provincial Court yesterday.

Six local officials axed for defying NCPO order

BANGKOK: -- Six local administration officials in Pathum Thani province were on Wednesday abruptly transferred to work at the Local Administration College in Thanya Buri district for allegedly defying the NCPO order declaring Wat Dhammakaya a “controlled zone”.

A Thai girl has been caught smuggling drugs to her boyfriend in Jail

 

PATTAYA: -- Pattaya police could not believe what they stumbled upon recently when they found a bag of drugs (ICE) inside a a bag of crisps (chips if your American). The bag had been handed to an inmate at a local prison by his girlfriend.

Foreign spouse income limit: Supreme Court rules financial barrier lawful, barring entry to thousands of couples

But rules and instructions behind the threshold are not lawful when it comes to the welfare of children, the judges say


The Supreme Court has said the Government's £18,600 income threshold that bars UK workers' foreign spouses is lawful, but judges admitted it will continue to cause "significant hardship" for thousands of couples.
