December 16, 200619 yr Author http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7n-chS1KcI Only 7 seconds Corky?? That's how long I'll last when I get home to LOS on thursday (wifey waiting with bedroom aircon on) :D Looks like it lost something in the translation It's strange....I was waiting for the wife to come back from shopping and I was just browsing in YouTube and I saw a "join" button. Out of curiosity I did and I loaded this bit I had on a Compact Flash. It was surprisingly easy. I am sure mine is the most boring of all the YouTube entries. What amazed me was how easy it was to do. No wonder those guys got 1.6 billion dollars for their thing.
December 16, 200619 yr It's definitely one of the shortest, Corky. Edited December 16, 200619 yr by oldoldgit!!
December 16, 200619 yr Hey corkscrew.. Welcome to the youtube community... I'm there too, but I haven't posted anything yet (and I don't go posting crap everywhere either.. Only on tv.com ) Good things about you tube: Loads of stuff you didn't know you wanted to see. Some funny, some original, but for me it's to see all kinds of performances I had never seen... live8 pink floyd reunion concerts, eric clapton jamming with jeff beck.. etc etc... Bad things: Loads of really ccrappy cover bands post themselves...
December 18, 200619 yr I have a DVD that I'd like to convert to a format that can be uploaded to YOUTUBE. Anyone know how that is done?

Videoing trains Do NOT mess with trains, there is only ever one winner http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itfxbRDu-xA BTW. The camera in this case was there to catch the last run of an historic locomotive. Edited December 18, 200619 yr by Crossy "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
