Hosting With 3ix.org

Featured Replies

Hi

I am looking for cheap hosting for a series of small sites that I have. I read on this forum a couple of conflicting remarks regarding hosting with www.3ix.org

Has anyone had any good/bad experience s with this provider? I looked on their website and it seems reasonable but I'm a bit wary to go ahead and part with money if they aren't very reliable.

I consider his a reliable service that meets a low cost niche.

I have used them for a couple of years now and I have found them very reliable and they give a good service at a reasonable rate.

Jay in Thailand was very helpful but just lately he is very difficult to get hold of. Last week I had a problem and left a message 3 times and got no reply nor did he reply to my emails.

I had loaded Office 2007 and after a couple of weeks I kept getting a message " save password setting not retained in outlook". I tried everything including looking up on th MS website and got a part cure which didn't totally fix my problem and I also went to my 3ix website and couldn't log in there either. Foolishly (in retrospect) I put in my login name and asked for a new password. Ooops that will go top my emails whci means I cannot get it either way.

I went to 3ix website and support using my and asked them to reset my old password and reply to my gmail account.

They did that overnight and followed up the next day asking if it worked and did I have any other problems.

3 ix is good enough for me.

Can concur on 3ix.

I subscribed long ago, when payment on a Thai bank account (through Jay) was possible. Not sure if this still is though.

I never bothered buggering Jay with any problems, instead went straight to 3ix in the USA, both by phone and e-mail.

Always got very fast responses and quick solutions.

And the price/quality/service wise, I think it's hard to better them!

I'm sure that must have come as a relief to him. :o
