9volt Batteries Available? Cost? (semi Urgent Lame Question)

Featured Replies

i am looking at a battery gadget for my ipod that takes a 9v battery. ive never had a need for this beat prior so cant recall seeing any in the stores. are they widely available (bigc/tesco/jhet-sip.et).

many thanks

I have one here in my drawer, a spare for my active bass pick-ups. Bought here, can't remember where, sticker says 95 baht, Duracell. Probably Tesco or Makro.

Reminds me, I have a sonar for my fishing boat, operates on two big square 6V batteries. Spotted a flashlight at True Value that contained one. I asked if they carried spare 6V batteries. No. "Mai mee" :o

If you are referring to the rectangular 9v batteries with two connector tabs at the top, they are available at Tesco, BigC and many other places.

They are seldom available in the Lotus I frequent and have never seen alakiline type for sale there - but they are widely available elsewhere. That last several I bought were Chinese "1" brand from Carrefour.

Assuming you mean like this....I think they are most anywhere. I buy them from a little "Mom and Pop" shop across the street from where I live....small village 80 km northwest of Korat. :o The brand I have is Panasonic, made in China and use it in a DVM (digital volt meter).

Yep, saw Panasonics, black and white, tonight at Tesco but had to look at a few displays near the cashiers to find them.
