World Bank says Thailand will take 20 years to gain high earning status country

But not so far below that they couldn't continue to run a car, or two, a couple of smartphones, a satellite/cable TV, et al.

When will governments realise that it's past time for a complete rethink of the agricultural sector? Especially when it's a government that isn't looking to votes in the next election.
