Check out the banks for an additional personal accident insurance; I know that some banks offer it for THB 2,500 per year. This insurance covers only medical expenses. Upon buying a new bike, there's often the possibility to obtain an insurance that will cover theft or loss of your bike up to 2/3 years. This insurance only covers material expenses. Finding an insurance eg. 1st class as with cars is either not available or just bloody expensive.
