While in Bangkok last year we flew Fly12Go to Chaing Mai but I booked the tickets in Bangkok by phone and physically picked them up

I want to book my tickets on line this year prior to leaving my home country and wanted to know if anyone has had experience/problems (booking on line-flying with the airline-checking in at the airport, etc. ) with any of the following airlines:

AirAsia; Nokair; Fly12go

No problems with Air Asia or 1-2-go but if you look through this forum people have had problems booking with credit card on Nok Air. 1-2-go even emailed me when they cancelled a flight. Dont expect them to be on time though.

No Problem with Air Asia! :o

Hi there

I've booked NokAir and AirAsia direct from UK on many occasions. Used credit card and recieved eticket on line. printed off and checked in without any problems. Travelled within Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, never a problem.

With NokAir did you not have to fax your credit card details and copy of your passport? Even though a change is imminent they still won't accept international credit cards without these being faxed - a potentially very insecure and outdated system!

I booked a flight online with Nokair from BKK to Trang last week, just 3 days before departure. No problem at all.

The website is very easy to use and you can choose your seats.

Check in, boarding and controls were very efficient. We had 2 different planes, both boeing 737. They are in very good condition and the design very fun. Be aware there's no drink and food in eco. If you want some, you can buy it from the crew, very cheap indeed. You can opt for Nokplus ( somehow equivalent to business), larger seat and some snacks/drinks included.

Air Asia is fine. If you book online in advance you can get some really cheap tickets. Never had any issues with them.

be aware that all of these have stringent check in pocedures. 45 minutes before flight they will close the check in counter. lighter than 'normal' baggage requirements, etc. but otherwise,

air asia is first choice.

nok air is fine but no credit cards. i went to the airport to book, then realized i could have used travel agent... duh

12go no experience

generally no problem
