mlkik
I went to Udon Immigration today and submitted my application to change my tourist visa to a non o for retirement purposes. I was advised to apply in Udon by Immigration in both Bangkok and Pattaya as Udon is where I live most of the time. It all went smoothly and I have a date to return in a couple of weeks time to have the visa change stamped in my passport. So just to confirm it can be done in Udon.
ubonjoe
They apparently have changed policies. Good that you were able to do the application.

They do that because one application form and the supporting documents are sent to immigration division 4 in Korat for approval of the application.
