Well, he is the government.  And I bet you weren't aware of this.  Plenty more.  But need to visit to see what's going on.  It doesn't get reported in the news much.

So looks like Pompeo got his way. 

 

At the tail end of the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018 there is Sec. 623:

 

"SENSE OF CONGRESS ON WIKILEAKS

It is the sense of Congress that WikiLeaks and the senior leadership of WikiLeaks resemble a non-state hostile intelligence service often abetted by state actors and should be treated as such a service by the United States."

 

Soon, any dissent will be legally squashed whether it is within the US or abroad. Dare to reveal any of the US' dirty little secrets and be dealt with as if you are an enemy. Truly frightening times we now live in.
