Taiwanese drug suspect arrested at airport may have connections with drug lord "Xaysana

BANGKOK: -- Drugs suppression police and commandos were out in force at Suvaranabhumi airport last night to arrest a Taiwanese man about to leave the country.

 

Police have been on the tail of Kochun Kia for some time since he arrived in the country before Songkran , reported Daily News.

 

Yesterday some two dozen officers were on hand to lead him out of the departure lounge via door 10 on the fourth floor.

 

He is believed to be connected to the seizure of two large drug consignments made in Chumporn in December and Hat Yai in January.

 

In the second of these 87 kilos of ice methamphetamine was discovered in a pick-up. Details about the Taiwanese man were found in documents in the vehicle, said police.

 

Police believe that he is involved in the movement of ice and heroin from the north of Thailand through Bangkok to Malaysia.

 

He is further suspected of being involved in the operations of Laotian drug kingpin "Xaysana" arrested earlier this year.

 

He is now in custody being interrogated.

Who in their right mind allows documents with their name on to be left in a vehicle transporting 87Kg of Ice? Especially when you are the supposed boss. Something highly suspicious about this.

Ever since this guy got busted all sorts of "tips and leads" have been flowing into the Thai police. They must be using a blowtorch on this "Xaysana" character. Or maybe he is buying his way out by giving up his network.
