PP,

I'll be at the party for the food, aircon (hardly needed though) and the free parking across the soi. Is it a lock-in party? Hope to see some other TV members...

You are obviously NOT going for the girls. Unless those photos are somehow not doing them justice :o:D

as much as i like d&d's the girls have never been the prettiest, also the bar ain't the same since ken left, much prefer tequilas next door.

I'm jumping ship if I feel unimpressed. That's the beauty of Pattaya.

Exactly.

Just as a side issue, your mates website looks OK. I just wouldnt put those photos up of his girls, if he is trying to attract punters, they really do not look appealing :o

But as you say there are a million and ten other places to go to. Have a good one :D

Why do sayings like..All Cats are Grey in the Dark,

Who looks at the mantle when stoking a fire..

Could we see a piccy of you so we may comment???

Suddenly spring to mind at a moment like this..

After a few lunatic soups they'll all be No.10s..

Theres also the fact that a good looking girl costs the same to hire as an ugly one, and would be more cost effective :o

You make an excellent point Jack,,hadn't thought of that aspect....

But this all relates to the magic bus syndrome - you've been in the bar for an hour or two, had a drink or several and need to make room for more.

When you return from the little boys' room you find the nagic bus has stopped outside and brought all these gorgeous girls and bright clever men and you proceed to join them and eventually to take some samples home for the night.

The corollary of the magic bus is the magic taxi, because next morning you wake up, go to the little boys' room again and when you come out you find the magic taxi has been, taking away the bright young things you took home and left their elderly aunts in their place.

Sheesh, by the time I get back, everyone is going to be all "partied" out !

Ah well, I suppose the girls of Pattaya will still be up for a party, even if the ex-pats aren't !! :o

A cracking night was had on soi 9 Jomtien tonight. The ladies put on a boisterous and exciting show. A very good turnout. Any TV members there? :o

Just discovered this thread, and as the owner of Drunks & Dare-A-Licks would like to say that I know our girls may not be the youngest or most beautiful girls in the world BUT they are all honest, loving and have good hearts. And as a bonus they REALLY look after you!

Merry Xmas

Let's keep the discussions (and pictures) within the realm of decency please.

Not that I'm a prude or anything... just that ThaiVisa is not the forum for posting that kind of thing.

Thanks for your understanding.

Sorry about tha picture. The post doesn't really make sense without it though. It was meant to be a joke. Never mind, thought the pic was OK as no naughty bits were shown! Will be more careful next time.

Nothing wrong with that piccy. The food looks good.

The food pictured in the previous post...looks great...however..

I hadn't been to Drunks ' Derelicks for quite ages , so last Wednesday, I thought I'd give it a try as there is a new owner (Chris). I ordered their 'steak special', which is available M-W-F at a reasonable 140-Bt.

I was not impressed...a piece of corn, some cold what looked like mashed potatos, some baked beans and a steak that was somewhat tender. Now, in all fairness, it could have been an off night...and I will reserve further judgement until I eat there again. I also kept ignoring the BG's, but one after another, they joined me at the table, until they got the hint. Again, maybe it was because it was a slow night. Another visit will tell me more.

FWIW:

Also, I was comparing the meal to a place I do frequent fairly often, as it offers _great_ value. "Cherry" restaurant is a small and fairly new place on 3rd Rd, just south of across the street from Xcyte. The chef and owner of Cherry is Thai and was a cook at Bruno's and trained by Bruno. They offer western, Italian and Thai food. I often order their serloin steak (local beef) for 180-Bt. The meal includes their free (but few selections) salad bar, a small appetizer, a quite tender steak, baked potato and some veggies. They also have Aussie steaks at 245-Bt. All-in-all great value. Cloth tablecovers and napkins, unobtrusive waiters and music. Best to eat inside rather than endure the traffic noise if sitting outside.

Yours is the first critiscism about our steaks. People come from all over Pattaya for them and they return week after week and say they are the best they have tasted! However that does not mean I do not take your comments seriously. I will check into what was served that night and make sure the stock was up to standard. The "mashed Potato" was in fact Potato Salad and was meant to be served cold. Many people love it.

Thanks for the comments though. Even the bad ones are appreciated. That way we can improve our service.
