Boy found dead in Samut Prakan canal

SAMUT PRAKAN: -- An eight-year-old boy was found dead in a canal near his parents’ rented house in Samut Prakan province on Monday morning.

 

The body of Tawan Faramee was found in Klong Bang Sao Thong in tambon Bang Sao Thong, Bang Sao Thong district, at about 7.30am.

 

His father notified police on Sunday evening that he had disappeared.

 

Chainarong Faramee, 42, said his son normally stayed with relatives in Mukdahan but was living with him during the school holidays.

Chainarong said his son left the house on Sunday after being upset by his mother.

 

He and his wife thought the boy would return after calming down but when he had not returned by Sunday evening, he notified police.

 

Neighbours spotted the body in the morning.
