May 13, 20179 yr Maybe slightly off topic but quite interesting. When I lived in Philippines my garden used to get plagued by they big red fire ant buggers that live in 'nests/colonies' in trees. Their bite was sore as hell and used to cause huge blisters. Anyhoo, I bought that gel stuff you put down and they take back to the queen to kill the colony. After a couple of days they caught on and on the garden fence at each spot I put the gel down there were two soldier ants at each point redirecting the workers away from the poison. Very interesting to see that. Little <deleted> won that war.
May 22, 20179 yr The "mot daeng' have their purpose. Bad village boys would be occasionally tied to a tree where the 'mot daeng' were present and left there. The other bad boys would quickly repent their poor behaviour and the village would be peaceful again....Ken
