Ducking and weaving what?

Look some us like educating ourselves to the laws of the Country we choose to stay.

If you don't want to fine.

But don't whinge about the need to maybe file a form, when you can't be bothered to research your facts first.

You have already said that individual offices interpret the laws differently, so it seems to me that reading the laws in this case may be a waste of time. Unless you are prepared to go and argue the point with your particular immigration office, and I'm pretty sure how that might turn out.  Acting superior can sometimes result in egg on your face.

He could be fined up to 2000 baht for not doing the TM30 report.

These sound like two complete opposites to me.

It is the duty of the owner to do the report.

But the foreigner staying there is the one that gets fined??

Those were replies to different questions.

I you read another of my posts I wrote that they stretch the rule to include the tenant as the one being responsible for the reporting.

This topic which is one of many on this forum about the reporting has run its course since it has evolved into a bickering session again .
