May 8, 20179 yr Hello. I am 48, from the UK and next month will apply for a one-year extension based on marriage. I have two questions about this process. I really appreciate any assistance. Thank you. I have applied for the "one-year based on marriage" visa before, and previously used documents from my landlord, showing a yearly rental contract, copy of the landlord's ID card and house registration. Thing is, now we have bought a house (in wife's name of course), so what documents do I/we need to take to Immigration (instead of those landlord documents)? I'm presuming a copy of her ID card, the new house registration (showing her name). Anything else? Also, another question..... I normally use 400,000 in the bank as evidence of funds. But this time (and for the first time) I will use the "40,000 a month" method and I already have the required letter from the embassy as evidence. But, is this sufficient on its own? Do I need to show other evidence of funds when I apply for the visa? Thank you for any assistance. Really appreciated! C

A signed copies of here house book (page one and the page showing her as house master) and ID card is all that is needed. 16 minutes ago, cms22 said: Also, another question..... Your bank showing some incoming transfers would be good proof.

They may also want a TM.30 form completed by your wife as the owner of the property. It's the form reporting that you live at the property and might be needed even if she's already submitted one.
