Superheroes to the rescue - Abbot hopes Spiderman will attract the faithful

CHIANG MAI: -- A temple in Chiang Mai is turning to superheroes and modern technology to bring the faithful flooding in.

 

Wat Phranorn Pukha in San Kamphaeng district even has an area where drivers can get a bit of luck to hopefully avoid the carnage on the roads, reported Daily News.

The temple also has a centerpiece 129 inch high seated white Buddha that is glancing down at something in his left hand.

 

The abbot said that technology was getting everywhere and his temple was no exception.
