Bangkok readies for heavy rains and flooding

 

BANGKOK, 11 May 2017 (NNT) – All 50 district offices of Bangkok has prepared plans to respond to flooding with the Department of Drainage and Sewerage (DDS) to keep them abreast of the situation on an hourly basis.

District chief moved as investigations into corruption continue in Petchabun

 

PETCHABUN, 11 May 2017 (NNT) – Suspicions of rampant corruption amongst sub-district administrations in Petchabun province have led to the district chief of Nong Phai being transferred out of the area as the Office of the Auditor General performs an investigation.

DIP says 85% of IP violations removed from major retail spaces

 

BANGKOK, 11 May 2017 (NNT) – The Ministry of Commerce has pointed out that its crackdown on intellectual property (IP) infringements has wiped away over 85 percent of goods at popular retail spaces such as Talad Rong Krua and Maboonkrong Shopping Center.
