Hi! I originally came to Thailand with a Non-ImmB visa, that was set until October. With that visa I got a multiple re-entry permit. On the permit (valid until Oct 2017) under 'Category' it simply says 'NON-IMM'.

I switched to volunteering here and changed my visa to Non-Imm O. Can I still use the same re-entry permit since it has been paid for and is simply listed as 'non-immigrant'?

If your permit to stay date that the multiple re-entry permit was issued for changes it is no longer valid.

Also if you have obtained an extension of stay (it is not a visa) at immigration using a re-entry permit that was issued before you got the extension the extension would become invalid if you used it.

A re-entry permit is linked to your permission to stay or extension of stay, not the visa. If you got a new extension or permission with a new expiry date, you'd a re-entry permit linked to that one.
