BANGKOK: -- First Army Region commander said yesterday that the bombing at Phramongkhutklao hospital was carried out by a well organized group.

Lt-Gen Apirat Kongsompong speculated that their backers might be person or persons who are dissatisfied with the current political situation in Thailand.

He asked the public to denounce and condemn them as they had no place in civil society.

“No one in the world will tolerate the unprecedented attack on a medical facility,” he said.

He said everyone from the prime minister to the deputy prime minister and the commander-in-chief himself has been patient in not ordering a state of emergency.

He assured that security forces and he himself and soldiers under his command are ready and on standby for the word from his superiors.

He said the media should realize from news reports that there are many inscrutable groups all over the world, but he wouldn’t point any fingers.

It is statements such as these that lead one to believe that they already know who is responsible (or to be targeted more likely). After all, who are the public supposed to denounce if nobody knows who did it?

I would have to be one of the most unorganised people in the world, but I'm sure that I could don a disguise and hang a vase on the wall, after casing the joint and seeing that It's fitted with Kmart cctv.

Subtle.

Two syllables,

first syllable: tick ________

second syllable: let he who is without __________

We don't have a clue who did it, but they are "well-organized".

A laugh a day!  In Manchester, the authoritiies know the name of the perpetrator after just a few hours of the bombing there, but in Thailand we get the above informed and instructive remarks, which are supposed to instill confidence in all of us.  I, for one, feel safer already.

Which points again to incompetence, especially after Manchester.

The Southern conflict is not a million miles away from what the rest of the world is facing today, yet some cannot see it.

But I would not be surprise to see lovers of greens behind it after the comment of The election may be delayed.

I cannot wait to see who they stooge up on this one.
