Seven provinces in Chao Phraya river basin warned of rising water level as dams are discharging water

Irrigation officials yesterday warned residents, temples and businesses by the banks of the Chao Phraya river in seven provinces to monitor the the water level closely and get ready for evacuation as they will be discharging more water from dams to make rooms for storing water during the coming rainy season.

Ratchaburi governor says false Facebook page created with his name

(Reuters) - Jim Bunning, who showed much of the same combativeness as a U.S. congressman as he had during his Hall of Fame career as a deceptive pitcher in baseball's major leagues, died at the age of 85, his son said on Saturday.

BA cancels flights from London as global IT outage causes chaos

LONDON (Reuters) - British Airways cancelled all its flights from London's two biggest airports on Saturday after a global computer system failure caused confusion and chaos, with thousands of passengers queuing for hours and planes left stuck on runways.
