SEADude
I read online that foreigners are eligible to own 100% of Thai co. dedicated to exports. I am wondering if its also applies to companies providing services, for example - organizing seminars & events (where all the revenue comes from abroad). Also, how does a work permit work for such a co.? I assume the foreign owner/MD probably needs one to sign papers n so on. Does he still need the 4 Thai employees? Is the WP absolutely necessary (even if the foreign owner does not live in Thailand or manage/work in the co. on a day to day basis). Thanks in advance
cincytwboy
I think your statement on the 100% export company is wrong, just saying. From what you describe, you probably will not fit for a BOI company. Therefore, you still need what you read on internet regarding to the four Thai employee and two million baht per work permit.
SEADude
Thai Co. meant for 100% export is not really a BOI Co. I have read some articles on the internet about it. However, there does not seem to be a lot of definitive info.
