Araya Phrommuang - or Nong Euy - started playing the game when she was in the first year of primary school said her mum Orathai, 39. "She was a bit of a crybaby," said Orathai,"and we were looking for something to attract her interest. She didn't like the game much at first but within a month of starting to learn it she was hooked". In just her second year of playing she won a school prize and was proud to receive an award in front of her friends by the national flag at Montfort Withaya school. Nong Euy - now in P4 - started taking the game more and more seriously even going to get training from masters in Bangkok several days a week and has now been chosen to represent the national team at an Asian festival in Turkmenistan.
