Yep!

You won't do hard time, but you could get a stiff fine.

Pharma Choice, on route 118, just past the Honda dealer heading northeast. Has at least one full time pharmacist.

Not sure why they're saying it's illegal. Pharmacists in Thailand are licensed to write -- as well as fill -- prescriptions. I'm getting all my maintenance meds at Pharma Choice -- and the prescriptions for these, written by my US doctor, expired several years ago. And most, like nexium, are Western brands.

Yeah, I'll get a physical one of these days to see if the maintenance pills are still correct. Meanwhile, I'll just keep refilling my prescriptions at Pharma Choice.

I may be completely wrong, but I assumed that the OP was looking for something to put a little "lead in his pencil".

So, what's to prevent the pharmacist from issuing a sleeve of Viagra? Again, Thai pharmacists, for better or worse, are allowed to call their own shots on pill prescriptions. Sure, some prescriptions in Thailand may be restricted to a hospital/doctor scenario. But, Viagra?

Not sure where you got your information that Thai pharmacists can write their own prescriptions.

Yes, many drugs that require a doctor's prescription in the UK, can be bought over the counter here (e.g.- antibiotics and some sleeping aids, etc.) but I'm pretty sure that Viagra and similar drugs can not be sold by a pharmacist without a doctor's prescription.

Yep, Viagra is illegal for pharmacists to sell without approval from a doctor.
