LONDON (Reuters) - The Sun newspaper on Friday listed 65 people who it said were still missing or feared dead in a London tower block fire which police said has left 17 people dead with the death toll expected to rise.

When asked on Thursday whether the death toll could exceed 100, London police commander Stuart Cundy said: "I'd like to hope that it isn't going to be triple figures."

This is a great photo! Blind Freddy can see the "Cladding" should have been made out of the same material that supported it and not some sort of combustible plastic.

The "ambulance chasing" law firms must be chaffing at the bit!

If this is indeed a government owned building, then May and all the politicians should be equally ashamed

for the shoddy work done on the Nice to look good renos.  What a waste of money if all it did was make the

building a worse fire trap. I feel sorry for all the people who were renting in this structure.  The fact of only one

stair way in the building. and no sprinklers needed as it was not a hotel, but a private residence for only regular

people. Shame on all the governments involved with this building, Shame on England for having such lax laws

concerning sprinkler systems.

Geezer

Geezer

UK has been fighting the adoption of EU fire regulations for years. Should now be adopted forthwith.
