Actually I'm not surprised, I guess to be up to date on everything that is going on related to a particular subject a person needs to have an interest in the subject.   

I probably know more than you about fashion because I'm interested in it, whereas I'd bet you don't give two f*cks about what happened at Milan Fashion week back in early October.
