I (British Passport holder) am coming from the UK with my daughter (French passport holder)  in early July. Our return flights are in early Sept...so will be away approx 8 weeks. We do this summer trip for the last few years. 

This time I will stay in Thailand less than 4 weeks before moving to Cambodia and Vietnam before returning to BKK for the return journey to London. My daughter on the other hand will stay with her mum in Thailand for the whole duration. 

 

Question.....do I need to obtain a single entry tourist visa (£25 per person as I did last year).....I am slightly concerned that we will not be allowed to travel without the visa....?

1 year is a long time in visa rules and regulations in Thailand...any advice is greatly appreciated. 

 

 

You could get a 30 day visa exempt entry both times your arrive. You will more than likely have to show a ticket out of the country within 30 days of arrival to board your flight to here. If you have a ticket to Cambodia to show that would be accepted.

It would be best if your daughter got a single entry tourist visa since she will not have a ticket out within 30 days.
