Multiple ED Visa stamp before expiration

Hi, I have a quick question. I have a Multiple ED visa expiring next week. I am thinking about flying out of the country to Malaysia to extend it another 3 months before it expires again.

Is this allowed?

You cannot extend the visa.

 

If the visa is still valid and you make an entry prior to the "enter before" date you will be given permission to stay in the country for 90 days.
