Blue book for a condo

Recommended Posts

The Blue book is indeed a Tabien Baan.

It's the official local government issued house or apartment address and resident registration booklet.

We commonly refer to it as the house book.

Foreign Condo owners are issued a Blue House book, but cannot be named in it.

If you want to be registered and named in a House book, foreigners must obtain the Yellow House book.

Only the Title Deeds prove ownership, not the House books.

Ok, so it's the same book. But I can't get my name in it. Can my Thai wife get her name in it ?

Yes your wife can be in the blue book but she will need the cooperation of the condo owner.

However she can only be registered in one book and she will be already registered somewhere, maybe in the parents, or a family members book. So she will have to be removed from that book in order to be named on the Condo book.

Current topic running on this procedure which is the same for Thai or foreigner.
