LAW IN THAILAND

Featured Replies

I need everyone's help. Please notice me and spare me some of your time.

I know nothing about this forum but I really really really need to know where I could get the legit copy of the law of thailand regarding the use of phone while driving. I couldn't get anything from google; and I couldn't search for the right website to go to.

I am actually going to use this for my study. Thank you so much!

Everything is legal in Thailand, as long as you are Thai..

If you are a farang, you have absolutely no rights....clear?:post-4641-1156694606:...so take care and don't get caught by the corrupt Thai boys in tight brown outfits!

According to section 43, a driver is prohibited from talking on a cell phone while driving, unless he or she is using a hands-free device. (Thailand: Use of Mobile at Red Light Is Illegal, supra; Land Traffic Act, B.E. 2522 (1979) (Mar. 15, 1979, as amended),

Until one is caught, just like the rest of the world. 'gotta love Thailand.

PS Try driving a pickup truck with an uncovered load on the government motorway to Pattaya and see how far you get! If you think laws are not enforced.
