overy 6mnths they bring pullets into mae rim 

over the years have got them they are 9mnths old on the point of laying

usually lay a egg a day or 2nd day for 3yrs

170b each 9to 10 tomorrow

into maerim  go past makro then just past next traffic lights 

on the left a stockfood   and egg shop

a truck will be parked out front on main rd 

full of chickens  cheers

That would be opposite the old Tops Supermarket then.... they also sell pet supplies and limited medications for cats and dogs.  Great little shop.

It used to be laying chicks that drew them.

 

Reports are that they've aged and now hens are all that's on offer.

First time I've been called that, astute shopper perhaps.

 

Not sure what you mean, maybe a joke I don't get, but we clip

some of our birds wings, such as the Burmese chickens and others, like our Jungle Fowl, are in roofed coops. Our ducks have a netting over their pen and the turkeys free range but none run (fly??) off.

What an amazingly inane thread.

 

TV needs a way to confirm members (tee hee, he said member) are at least 15 years old.

We used to tell others to "go lay an egg" when we were young, but until now I've never even considered laying a hen.
