Six convicted armed robbers were yesterday sentenced to more than 100 years in prison each for shooting dead three people and stealing six motorbikes in Phnom Penh in 2015.  The suspects are already serving between 56 and 73 years each for three other armed robberies, including one in which a 23-year-old-student was gunned down.

They have now been sentenced for nine separate crimes. Seth Mathroseth, alias Seth Dieng, 22, earlier received a 73-year term and was yesterday sentenced to a further 138 years.

Im Sopheak, 23, Eng Aripin, 20, and Pen Chamnab 19, were earlier given 65 years each and yesterday were handed an additional 120 years behind bars. Karaoke girls Nhem Kanitha, 22, and Pich Soneth, 22, received 56-year terms in the previous trial and another 108 years each yesterday.

Good thing we don't live as long as some people in the bible that lived for hundreds of years before God said to limit man's life less than a hundred. 200 years in jail man that.would be horrible.
