Rush ready-meals to flood victims, PM orders

Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has instructed governors of flooded provinces to rush roasted chicken, steamed sticky rice, boiled eggs and bottles of drinking water to stranded flood victims, Government Spokesman Lt-General Sansern Kaewkamnerd said on Saturday.

SEOUL/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - North Korea said on Saturday it had conducted another successful test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that proved its ability to strike all of America's mainland, drawing a sharp warning from U.S. President Donald Trump and a rebuke from China.

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain announced a review of building and fire safety rules on Friday after tests conducted following last month's deadly tower block blaze in London found a cladding system known to be used on 82 buildings breached regulations.

U.S. proposes cigarette nicotine cut, shift toward e-cigarettes

19 provinces still flooded

Heavy downpours that hit many parts of the country between July 5-28 caused inundation and flash floods in 40 provinces, but the situation has eased in 21 provinces while 19 others are still flooded, Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department director-general Chatchai Promlert said on Saturday (July 29).
