By The Nation

The Second Army Area has dispatched five companies of troops to help evacuate flood victims in Sakhon Nakhon province, the commander of the region said.

Second Army Area Commander Lt-General Wichai Shaejorhor said the troops, and 36 military trucks, 31 boats and two jet-skis were dispatched to evacuate the people whose houses were inundated in Muang, Toa Ngoi, and Phannanikhon districts.

He said troops also supported the Sakhon Nakhon provincial administration’s efforts to set up temporary shelters for flood victims in government agencies.

My Thai relative sent me some pictures of the flooded areas, an ther has been very serious flooding, roads washed away and over a meter of water in a lot of areas. Pretty bad to be affected by this flood. Careful of the

water borne deseases associated by all this extra water.G

Geezer

I second Geezer.  Best wishes to those in Sakhon Nakon.

Been watching the Thai news and it is a very serious situation there.
