Stay In Thailand

Featured Replies

I was wondering if some one could give me some advise as to what is the best way forward?

I would like to stay in Thailand for a year, I have a friend who lives and has his own company out there, he said he might be able to sort out a work permit for me. Im not going to be working for him, im hoping to keep on working for a company in the UK.

So what im asking is weather I need a work permit or can I just apply for an Multiple-entry Non Immigrant visa which I think lets you stay for 12months but you must to a visa run every 90days?

Can anyone tell me the best option?

Thanks

I suggest you follow this thread as it is asking the same questions.

The multi entry non immigrant O visa is a good start. If you are working here it is best to have a work permit but if everything is outside of Thailand and you don't have too many enemies it is not likely to be questioned. If your friend can "sort out a work permit" so much the better.
