SETV Hong Kong

Featured Replies

I have a UK passport with no tourist visas in at the moment. Just wondering how the HK consulate is for giving out SETV now and what do I need to take with me.

Thanks

Easy to get one according to several posts.

From their website after selecting the UK on this webpage on consulate website.http://www.thai-consulate.org.hk/web/3015.php?s=4049

Number one is not required. A ticket to here and a one way ticket to anywhere will be accepted.

I would also mention that, as of about six months ago, they were not requiring the air ticket/itinerary from a UK passport holder. Six months can be a long time, though, so this may now be a requirement. When I was there, it was a great place to apply with quick service.

Agree, same experience last year. OP would do well to make certain of current requirements though.

Will reconfirm that as of 1 month ago, things have not changed.

Off topic, but I will add it here, I don't want to start a separate thread.

So to whom it may concern:

I did ask the guy at the information window (the first room you enter straight in front) about conditions of issuing multiple entry nonBs. He confirmed that they will not issue any kind  of multiple entry visas unless the applicant holds a HKID.

Single entry visas (tourism and others) are fine for people not holding a HKID.
