Linksys E1700 Access Point

Featured Replies

have a complicated internet set up at home ( well for noobs ).

Have a "equipment room" where all the power / TV cables etc terminate including the modem which is Huwei 192.168.1.1 , and connected to the fiber

from there, there is a LAN cable which comes inside the house to an Access Point which died last week.

Bought a better one, Linksys, and got it working - set it in bridge mode,  and made it IP address 192.168.1.2 and did some wireless security stuff

for gaming I have set up port forwarding on the Huwei modem

It works, but wondering if this is a correct set up ?
