Phil Conners
Is there a place to learn/train meditation in Pattaya. I am not interested in religion, just your garden variety learning how to sit down and relax?
Sheryl
Can't say about Pattaya but there is an excellent facility in Prachinburi (2 - 2 1/2 hr drive). This is for Vipassana and while completely non-sectarian it does aim a bit higher than just relaxing...it is a technique for permanently removing menatl tension and learning how to stop tying new mental knots. Can get detailed info at www.dhamma.org (don't be put off by the "dhamma" part, it is not a sectarian thing and no tyope of religious belief or worship is at all involved)
John K
Self hypnosis can do the same and also motivate you to make yourself better at the same time.

Weho
THere is also a place on Soi Khao Talo, (off Sukumvit Road, very close to Tepprasit Road)... go up Khao Talo about 1/2 kilometer, there is a reddish brown colored wall, on the RIGHT side, I think it's just before the Grand Eastern Hotel... there is a big sign there, something about Meditation, in English.
