Misterwhisper
Oh those priorities! The whole country is drowning in illegally dumped trash; there is illicit logging, protected animal trafficking and land encroachment; not a single day goes by without mind-boggling news about road rage, murder, drugs, human slavery, child abuse and rogue monks; scams are allowed to flourish seemingly unhindered; corrupt politicians bleed the country dry; police officers constantly break all sorts of laws... ...but hey! Let's bust the balls of some "celebrities" because these hardened criminals brandished booze bottles on social media.

Nbarch
The advantage of pursuing this type of crime is that it can all be done from the comfort of an air conditioned police station, whilst checking Fakebook and perhaps watching an old episode of Keystone Kops on the computer.....meanwhile the real criminals...... mtls2005
But it's OK for Metropolitan Police chief Sanit Mahathavorn to receive 50,000 THB from ThaiBev each month. Go figure.
Moti24
Advertising wouldn't make any difference; just go down any rural soi during the evening, especially around Bangkok, and you'll find plenty of young guys, sitting in the back of pickups, drinking from bottles of Leo. If you tell children with the intelligence of a gnat not to do something, they'll do it even more. TiT.

gandalf12
With the number of drunks recently in the news it is hard to believe that alcohol advertising is illegal. Dont the manufacturers advertise? Of course they do. If alcohol is so bad, and from recent reports it appears it is, then stop the production of alcohol in all forms and make the country dry. See, problem solved

See, problem solved Yes, that worked so well in the United States. But agreed that something like that could be rattling around the head of some bureaucrat while he's making a paper clip chain.
