Tourists warned against swimming at Trang waterfalls

By The Nation

TRANG: -- Trang governor Siripat Pattakul has warned tourists against using waterfalls in six districts after the southern province was hit by torrential rain for several days.

The governor also warned residents of the six districts to brace for possible mountain run-offs and mudslides.

The six districts are Palian, Yan Ta Khao, Na Yong, Muang, Huay Yod and Rassada.

The governor instructed officials to be on standby around the clock to help evacuate people if flash floods and mudslides happen.
