Yes and no.

 

People don't start companies here and then immediately make them dormant, ready for sale.

 

What you do find are existing companies with no assets that have not traded for a while up for sale (or even given away for free if you pay to transfer the shares).

 

The only problem with this is that if the company has debts and obligations when you buy it then you buy those too...
