Truck/Mover to Move a King Sized Mattress

Featured Replies

Does anyone a know mover who can  move a King Sized (6ft; 200 cm/180 cm) mattress from one condo to another? I've used grab XL (van) for moving smaller furniture but the mattress is too big for them to take. I'd rather not hire a huge truck, but I don't know who can move something that size.

Not really funny, and no help at all

maybe you can cut it in half then join it back together in the new condo.

Most be plenty of pickup trucks in your area you can rent with 2 men.

Lash it onto the top of a song taew.

It would be helpful if you mentioned where you live.

Depending on distance, if you are willing to pay around 2-3k baht, there are lots of choices.

I was trying to do the same, just about 1-2km though, so only a 20-minute job.  I just couldn't carry it.  I carried a fridge by myself and a bunch of other stuff but the mattress is not carry-able.

In the end I went to the local songtaew parking lot and someone there charged me 500 baht to put it on the roof.  Far too expensive but I was out of options and needed it moved that day.  I moaned a bit but he wasn't budging from 500.

why not just buy a new one and get it delivered. probably cheaper and easier than trying to get it moved.

500 baht a king size mattress and a load of new inhabitants I'm sure. But fair play you got it done under every know it alls budget and you will never sleep alone again.
