webfact
23 Myanmar migrants arrested in Prachuap Khiri Khan Border patrol policemen in Prachuap Khiri Khan on Thursday arrested 23 Myanmar workers who had sneaked across the border over a mountain near the Dan Singkhon border pass. The 23 Myanmar migrants were spotted at a forest near the border by an assistant village headman who alerted police to arrest them. They were taken to Tambon Klongwan police station in Prachuap Khiri Khan’s Muang district to face legal action and deportation. The migrants told police that they had paid a broker in Myanmar who had promised them jobs on fishing boats in Prachuap Khiri Khan’s Thap Sakae district, but their would-be employer could not register them as workers because they did not have travel documents. They were arrested while returning home to Myanmar. ukrules
Arrested while trying to leave the country. If they were left alone they would have been back in Burma by now. I guess they didn't have enough money on them.
observer90210
I would rather use this police manpower to arrest the cheats that drive taxis and tuk tuks, who on a daily basis, ripp off customers and refuse to turn ON the meter
