It was a couple of years ago, there have been a couple of bag thieves caught this year in the news but both times it was airport workers.

Hence my post that you replied to, and I think that you'll find that both of those were contract workers, which is why AoT is IIRC trying to directly employ people so that they can vet them, hardly marauding masses though

It's the baggage handlers!

And Samsonite even helps them in order of the US government.

My wife got a new Samsonite suitcase but we didn't get the key of it (it has a numberlock as well)..so i called the shop and they said the lock can ONLY be opened by the american customs since they gave them the masterkey to open this suitcase.

Well how long will it take before the baggagehandlers on other airports all have a copy of that samsonite key??? They can open all the new Samsonite suitcases with it. So for us the suitcase is useless....thanks USA!

So, they are talking to a group of thieves about catching thieves, is what I understand from reading between the lines.

I once met an old Ozzie he taught me how to read between the lines. He said in Thailand when you read newspaper or any statements by government you read between the lines otherwise you wouldn't understand anything.
