People in the North and Northeast are advised to brace for isolated heavy rain to be brought by tropical storm Pakha, according to the Thai Meteorological Department announcement issued at 5pm on Friday (Aug 25).

As of 4pm on Friday, tropical storm Pakha was over the East of the Philippines.  With a maximum sustained wind of about 35 knots, the storm was moving in the west-northwest direction at the speed of about 10 knots.

It is believed to reach the Middle China Sea tomorrow (Aug 26).

Terrific storm last night. Blew a tree down in the garden. Surprised there was no power cut.

Bangkok had a lot of rain last night as well.

Narrr ... what you just had was the tail end of a front passing through ... the real deal may happen in the next few days if she doesn't fizz out when hitting the land ... stand at your benches !

One "flash bang"and we were out of "fire" for five hours in Bang Saray.

Ya just never know!

Maybe time to invest in a flashlight, eh?

Just be thankful your not in Texas as a cat 4 hurricane is bearing down on the state.

I guarantee , if you invest in an LED lantern and a good torch you will never have another power cut again . Your prudent investment will stay in it's storage place gathering dust.
